Dr Zineb Belouadah

HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist

Dr Zineb Belouadah is an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with experience working with children, young people and adults across NHS and private settings.

Zineb has worked in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), community mental health services and neurodevelopmental services. She has experience supporting people with anxiety, low mood, trauma, difficulties managing intense emotions, self-harm and school-related difficulties, alongside neurodevelopmental differences such as autism and ADHD.

Her approach is formulation-led and integrative. Zineb works primarily with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), while also drawing on narrative approaches and DBT-informed skills. She adapts the work depending on the person and what feels most useful to them.

Zineb particularly enjoys working with children and young people and, where appropriate, works alongside parents and schools. She is interested in understanding the young person within the context of their relationships and wider environment, rather than seeing difficulties in isolation.

She has a particular interest in neurodevelopmental work and is ADOS-2 trained. She has experience in cognitive assessment and tailoring psychological work to different developmental and communication styles.

Zineb is fluent in Arabic and works with individuals and families from a range of cultural and religious backgrounds. She is mindful of how culture and faith can shape the way people understand distress and what they may find helpful in therapy.
